The Baby Innovation Award show is the largest annual event for the baby-product market, offering not only extraordinary awards but also a lot of media coverage. This election is organized by Publisher BabyWereld (puplisher trade magazine BabyWereld) in association with the Negenmaandenbeurs.<\/p>\n
Why enter the award show?<\/h2>\n
Entering the competition means you have a chance of winning on of the prestigious awards that will open many doors. You can count on more brand awareness, a lot of media coverage, both print and online and thus giving you a head start in sales. You will also receive a place on the ‘Innovation Street’, including sales opportunities and (shared) storage facilities at the Negenmaandenbeurs. This means 37,000 expectant and new parents can experience your product. A product with this logo works as a quality mark: it creates trust and gives you a competitive edge! By participating, you can expect:<\/p>\n

The categories of the Baby Innovation Award Competition<\/h2>\n
The election consists of 8 categories: 1. Mobility | 2. Travel & Safety | 3. Health & Monitoring | 4. Feeding | 5. Care | 6. Furniture & Decoration | 7. Toys & Gifts | Baby Impact
\nAttached to the the registration form, you will find an enumeration of products falling under a certain category. In addition to these awards, you have a chance of winning the Green and Design Award (jury prizes) and the Negenmaandenbeurs Consumer Award.<\/p>\nAward show procedure<\/h2>\n
November 1, 202<\/strong>6<\/strong>: deadline\u00a0for application<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>Application of your product via the site in 1 of the 8 categories. You automatically make a chance to win the Design Award and the Negenmaanden Consumer Award. For the Green Award you can let us know on the application form is you want participate or not.<\/p>\nNovember 1<\/strong>0 2026<\/strong>: the\u00a0professional\u00a0jury\u00a0decided on\u00a0the nominations<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>During the expert jury day, the nominations for each category will be designated. The professional jury consists of a team of experts<\/a> from several disciplines. The next day the nominees will be announced.<\/p>\nJanuary<\/strong> 20 <\/strong>2027: Mum & Dad Juryday<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>On behalf of the Negenmaandenbeurs, mothers, fathers and influencers from all over the country come to assess the nominations and give points. As a nominee, you will have the opportunity during this day to demonstrate your product live and receive valuable feedback immediately.<\/p>\nFebruary 1 \u2013 1<\/strong>7 2027<\/strong>: online voting<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>From the 1st till the 17th of February voting online is possible for the Negenmaandenbeurs Consumer Award.
\nConsumers will be given the chance of winning one of the nominated products.<\/p>\nFebruary 1<\/strong>8 2027<\/strong>: deciding\u00a0the winners\u00a0and ceremony<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>Category Awards: the professional jury nominates the candidates, category winners will be determined by 60% professional jury and by 40% Mum & Dad Juryday. The winners will be announced during the Exposants Network Breakfast.
\nThe Negenmaandenbeurs Consumer Award: this is determined by 50% Mum & Dad Juryday, 50% online voting and at the Negenmaandenbeurs.<\/p>\nEntry fees<\/h2>\n
A registration fee is required for participation. This includes logistical costs, elaboration of the given information, making a jury file, explanation and presentation during the professional jury day, possible storage up to the jury days and Negenmaandenbeurs, co-organizing the Mum & Dad Juryday and a dedicated place on the ‘Innovation Street’ at the Negenmaandenbeurs.<\/p>\n
The fee for entering a product amounts to \u20ac295.
\nIn case of nomination, the contribution is \u20ac1,395, including a dedicated space at the ‘Innovation Street’ at the Negenmaandenbeurs.
\nWe can offer startups a discount for entering the election (not on nomination costs), please get in touch with us for more information.<\/p>\nApplication and entering the product<\/h2>\n
Your application and product must be received by the organization BEFORE THE 1st OF NOVEMBER 2026<\/strong>. It is possible to enter more products, but price will be the same per product.

\nMake sure your product is ready to be presented and add important product information and test reports if available before the juryday on on the 10th of November.<\/p>\nFor technically complex products such as strollers, car seats and baby monitors, a request may be made for a short demonstration during the expert jury day.<\/p>\n
